Knowing about Benefits of Online Therapy

The third Fun Commandment is to Celebrate Everything, which will help you use humour’s natural medication to boost your mental health. To someone whose mental health isn’t up to scratch, celebrating something may seem like a monumental challenge, but once you start following my first two Commandments, you’ll find this part of my doctor’s orders much easier to follow. In reality, celebrating something is more than a preventative measure for long-term mental health. The more you do it, the more it will become a way of life for you and you will be so pleased with the outcome. Aura MD – Dr. Ashley Toutounchi offers excellent info on this.

How do you keep your mental health on the upswing by celebrating everything? The old joke about the boy who wanted a pony for his birthday exemplifies this Commandment. Instead, he was greeted by a room full of manure. “With all this manure, there’s got to be a pony in here somewhere!” he exclaimed gleefully as he plunged straight into the dung.

We quickly note that, as adults, we will never give ourselves such “naive” excitement, no matter how much we laugh. What’s to stop you? Can you understand why you made such a “mature,” “grown-up” decision? Your deadly seriousness (taking yourself too seriously) promotes the belief that a responsible adult should not be too ambitious, putting one’s mental health at risk.

We should do more than just laugh at this birthday boy’s unabashed optimism; we should try to imitate it! What was the last time you came across a mound of manure that you weren’t expecting? Isn’t it true that you have no influence over the situation?
